This graph is basically used to be my life when I wanted to get abs. The only difference is now I understand what’s going on & can reasonably anticipate if I’m going to gain, lose or maintain my weight based on my eating habits and choices I make. At the end of the day everything we do is our choice.
Why is this important? Because so many people think their metabolisms is slow or even broken or they can’t lose weight because of genetics, or worse is because they are big bone. When often it comes down to underestimating how many calories are being eaten ESPECIALLY if something adds fats/oil in it…
Eating a bit of “fan food” over the weekend is FINE as long as you understand it may slow down your progress and might make you really disappointed why you not taking that next step when it comes to fat loss
I sometimes get in the habit of having a conversation with myself about whether or not you really want to go off-plan for whatever reason. If you decide it’s completely worth it because you want to enjoy your kids birthday cake then that’s TOTALLY FINE!
The key is to acknowledge to yourself that you might be having some extra calories, what effect this might have on your progress and live your life. But you MUST make that choice.

I’m NOT saying you can’t or shouldn’t have fun on the weekend… Just remember —> having too much “mindless fun” every single weekend can quickly undo the hard work you’re putting in Monday-Friday especially if your goal is fat loss.
